FREE dog food and coffee creamer at Publix

Purina One 4LB bag of dog food is on sale for $5. Publix has one sheet coupon pages right now for various pet food items (check the rounder or customer service) that have a $3 Publix coupon for this dog food. Combine this coupon with the $2 Off $5 Pet Aisle purchase from Food Lion, and you have FREE dog food!
Nestle Coffee Mate Creamer, 32 oz., is on BOGO sale at Publix this week for $1.19. We got a $.50 off coupon in the 2/7 RP (doubles to $1) and Food Lion has a printable for $1 off. You get $2 off, so basically FREE or $.81 overage depending on how your store takes the coupons. ***Remember, Food Lion's policy is one print per day per customer. Don't take more than one of each of these coupons per purchase to Publix. We want to continue to be able to use competitor's coupons here--don't abuse it! If you want more than one, make several purchases.

Get a GREAT meat and produce coupon!!

This rebate entry was from a tearpad I found in Publix. I think it was in several stores. I bought 2 Wishbone dressings a few weeks ago when they were on sale BOGO, using coupons and paid about $.50 for each one. Then I sent the receipt in with this form (the form is on the back of this coupon), and received my $1 off Beef or Produce coupon pretty quickly. I used this coupon in HT this week for $2 off my $3.87 package of chicken. What a great deal! So, I noticed that publix has the dressing on sale this week. If you have one of these and get the dressings(coupons in the 1/31 RP), send it in and you should have the coupon before the next super doubles week!!

MORE HT SUPER DOUBLES DEALS

We love seafood, and if you have any of these coupons (from a tearpad in various stores), you can get cocktail sauce for free at HT this week. The sauce is on sale for $1.99, so if you buy some meat or seafood, you can use this coupon for the sauce--the coupon only recognizes the sauce.
If you still have any of these coupons (they were from an in-store tear pad in December), you can do a couple of great deals. First, jello is $.57, so you can easily get three free packs this week at HT. However, if you want the full value of the coupon ($2.50) this week, buy 2 jellos and 1 philadelphia cream cheese-$1.65. These three items total $2.79, so you get 2 jellos and 1 cream cheese for $.29. That's pretty good! Remember, you can freeze cream cheese.

*This coupon for some reason has to be manually put in by management, so use it last.

HARRIS TEETER SUPER DOUBLES

OK, I went this morning and had a blast. Two notes on the posts from last week. HT would not let me use the FREE Stovetop coupon for the 5th box. I did, however, receive a $3.00 catalina coupon good for the next purchase (on anything) because I bought the 4 Stovetops. Yeah!! And the manager had to override for the Earthgrains produce coupon. I think it will work better if you use the produce coupon first and then the bread coupon, but maybe they have to input the second one either way.
Great to see some of my coupon buddies out in the dark hours like me this morning!!

SORRY ABOUT THE BROKEN LINKS

If you've had trouble with the links, I'm so sorry and am working to fix them. Also, several of you have had difficulty in posting comments, so that will be looked at as well. Just email me at joyfulcouponing@comcast.net in the meantime if you have questions or comments.

BIG FAN OF STAPLES

I have a confession to make---I love office supplies. Not sure just why, but I always have. I get questions about how to get paper and ink at discount prices, so I thought I should make sure to include good discounts when I find them. Lately, I've been visiting Staples. They have a decent "Easy Rebate" system that you can register for online and submit receipts online (I like that I don't have to mail them in). The drawback is that it does take 5-6 weeks to get the checks, but when they come in, you can use them in the store for whatever you want, including more rebate items!!! That's what I did with this purchase. Here's what I bought: 2 Sharp Printing Calculators (I've been needing one of these-the other makes a nice gift) at $14.99 ea.-$14.99 Easy Rebate (limit 2)=FREE.
2 Staples Multipurpose Paper, 500 sheets at $6.49 ea.- $1.50 instant savings and $2.99 Easy Rebate (limit 2)=$2 ea.
2 Staples Pull& Seal Envelopes, 25 pk-$1 ea.
2 Bic Prite Liner Highlighters, 5 pk.-$1 ea.
2 Sharpie Permanent Markers Fine Tip, 5 pk-$1 ea.
2 Staples Mechanical Pencils, 12 pk.-$1 ea.
SUBTOTAL= $50.45
used a $10 off $50 purchase at Office Depot (yes, they do accept competitor's coupons)
used $39.00 rebate check
TOTAL= $1.56 (including tax)

And I will submit the receipts for a $35.96 rebate that will come at the end of next month.

Gifts for Birthdays, Christmas, Op. Christmas Child, Etc.

Right now you can go to hasbro.com and print off coupons for several card games, which makes them .24 to 1.99 each. I purchased: 4 GE Reveal Bulbs 4 pk. $2.49 ea.-used 1.50 off store coupon(from their website) and $1 off manufacturer (SS 1/03)
4 Dove Hair Spray, travel size $.97-used $1.50 off Dove Hair Care RP 1/31 (overage of $2.12)
2 Scrabble Slam Card $5.24-used (2) $4.00 coupons
2 Sorry Revenge Card Game $5.99-used (2) $4.00 coupons
2 Pictureka Card Game $5.24-used (2) $5.00 coupons
2 Monopoly Card Game $5.24-used (2) 4.00 coupons

Total $7.26 plus tax for 8 games, 4 packs of bulbs, and 4 travel hairsprays

***If you don't have a stockpile of hairspray yet, you may want to just hold these coupons for the larger sizes if you see them on sale-the coupons expire 2/28. If you don't find a sale on the larger ones by then, just use them for the travel ones during the last week of February.

RAZORS AND BODY WASH AT TARGET

This deal is a winner! 1 Gillette Fusion Razor $6.99-used $4 off PG 2/7

3 Venus Breeze Razors $6.99 ea.-used (3) $2 off PG 2/7

3 Olay Total Effects Body Wash (smaller 8.4 oz. size) $5.50 ea.- used (3)Free Olay Body Wash wyb Venus Razor PG 2/7

***Target is running gift card promotions right now on these products. You get a $5 gift card when you purchase 2 of the razors and you get a $5 gift card when you purchase three of these body washes. So, you get 3 $5 gift cards on the above purchase. I had 2 $5 gift cards that I used on this purchase, which made my total after coupons $5.96 plus tax. If you don't have any gift cards to use, then the price is $15.96 plus tax. Remember, you also have 3 $5 gift cards, too! And you can submit this for the Olay $15 rebate. Also, get a duplicate receipt, and you have $37 towards the $50 P&G rebate coupon book.

***I like to keep 2-3 of these $5 gift cards and just roll them into the next gift card deal, but you can use them on anything in the store.

***If you like Proctor and Gamble products, then you definitely want to submit for the coupon book I mentioned above. I missed out on it last year and was really sorry later on!!!

Earthgrains bread and Produce deal

Have you seen this new coupon: $1.00 on PRODUCE with the purchase of any Earthgrains Bread or Thin Buns. They have been spotted taped to the bread packages and on tear pads in various stores. Well, you can go HERE, click on the bread when it shows up on the wheel, and you can print a coupon for .75/1 on the bread. So, now you have a great coupon on the bread and $1 off produce, too. Also, if you can hold on to these for next week's HT super doubles, the deal is even sweeter!! If you can't print the coupon, there was also a .55/1 coupon in the RP on 2/7.
